MT Services
We provide At-home, facility, and school-based music therapy services.
- Sessions typically last from 30-60 minutes, and occur 1-2 times per week. Individual and small group sessions are available.
- MTEC maintains Facility-Based Partnerships with several facilities throughout the Cleveland area.
- MTEC therapists provide individual and group sessions, as well as co-treat a variety of groups with other professionals.
- Therapists travel to their clients and bring with them all necessary instruments and materials.

Adult MR/DD Services
- Provided to groups and individuals in group homes
- Offers weekly Sing and Sign Choirs as well as performance/social groups
Developmentally-Based Music Classes
- Taught by MTEC therapists at day cares servicing children both with and without delays.
- Classes focus on communication, social skills, pre-academics and child development.
Early Intervention
- Services for children ages 0-3 born prematurely, in foster care, in low-income homes, or with a variety of disabilities.
Home-Based Services
- For children ages 3 and up with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Delays, Speech Delay, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Mitochondrial Disease, Oppositional Defiancy, and a variety of other disabilities.
- Convenient to parents/siblings/caregivers
Mommy and Me / Daddy and Me Playgroups
- Offered in-home for small groups of children.
- Groups focus on appropriate developmental skills for children ages 0-6, as well as parent/child interaction.
Preschool Services
- Provided to preschools in several counties.
- Individual and group Music Therapy sessions take place with children in Autism preschools, Speech/Communication Delay preschools, MH preschools and integrated preschool classrooms.
School-Based Services
- For children K-12
- Provided as a related service on a individual's IEP
- A contract service to entire classrooms
- A consultative service to MH teachers, music educators, and other professionals in the district.
The Listening Program
- A music-based auditory stimulation (TM) method
- Safe, effective, drug-free approach
- Helps improve brain function and reduce stress
- Trains the brain in the auditory skills needed to effectively listen, learn, and communicate
- Monitored by MTEC's Authorized Provider
- A home-based program that consists of a series of CD's
